I was on hold for ten minutes, getting more and more annoyed, and less sad. When he switched back over, he said, "that was _____, she says hi. Anyway, you want to break up? Okay. That's probably a good idea." Through a mutual friend I found out they moved in together two weeks later, which was also how I found out he was cheating on me. I stewed for weeks over it, but never shed another tear over him. Creep.
